IRC is working in Pakistan for the last 30+ years. IRC always delivers large programs in the field of health, education, protection, livelihoods for evacuated disaster-affected communities all over the world. International Rescue Committee is working with the Pakistan government and partnerships with program stockholders.

Nowadays IRC is working in Northern Areas of Pakistan especially in 5 districts Khyber Phakhtoonkhuwa. IRC launched a five years new program named “USAID Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE)” in KPK districts with the object of promoting females in social and economic power.

Job Description


  • The IRC is looking for a multi-talented and motivated candidate for the position of Social Mobilizer.
  • The Social Mobilizer will coordinate and communicate with the Election Commission of Pakistan, NADRA, District Administration, Local Government and Rural Communities.
  • The Social Mobilizer will assist the communities to mobilize them and be responsible for making awareness sessions & campaigns on the benefits of the National Identity Card especially for females.
  • The Social Mobilizer will facilitate NADRA MOBILE VAN in the community for females/women. Or to perform the leading role of this position, Social Mobilizer will take the females to NADRA Centers for the National Identity Card registration process.
  • The Social Mobilizer will make reports on a daily basis and submit them to their supervisors/Zonal Manager.  



Responsibilities


  • Get basic training in community mobilization.
  • Data Collections
  • Need base assessment
  • Assessment for eligibility of females
  • Identified targeted women with the coordination of community leaders.
  • Will facilitate females
  • Arrange NADRA Mobile VAN
  • Prepare a list of eligible women
  • Keep all electronic records and database
  • Share data with key persons of WEE.
  • SM will coordinate with other roles like LHVs, Teachers, Lady Councilors, UC Secretary, Health care workers, and social workers.



Education


Matric/Intermediate/Graduation and must be known about MS Office



Experience


  • At least two years of experience in community mobilization in any NGOs/INGs.
  • Candidates having experience in data collections/conducted surveys will be given preference.
